Thanks for writing this. You handled her with a great deal of courtesy and skill. And good for you for going to the club meeting in the end.

In my training days, I went around MN teaching nurses various skills and ways of understanding the populations they were serving. Usually these were well received, but every now and then a really crabby/unhappy person would lay into me on the evaluations. I had a terrific boss -- a woman I admired and respected. One time, when she was reading over the evaluations, she came to the one that was awful and insulting. She said, "You are allowed to throw away one evaluation from every training. This time, it's this one," and she tossed it into the waste basket. Toss this lady's questions into the waste basket, and keep blessing the others with your writing.
